Today more than ever players are drifting further away from the “we” way of life to the “I” part of it. A big culprit is the technology that surrounds our world giving access to so much more information as well as video on players from all around the world. A big part of the individualization of the sport is player rankings.

AAU Spring Fling II wrapped up Sunday at ESPN Wide World of Sports at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL. The more than 1,700 athletes spent their mother’s day weekend battling on the hardwood with fierce competition; hoping to bring the automatic bid to nationals, signed WNBA basketball, plaque and of course GOLD medals home to their mom!
