| Click Here For Printable Version HOW TO PREPARE FOR NATIONALS TO PARTICIPATE AT A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP YOUR TEAM MUST FIRST QUAILIFY THROUGH PLAYING AND PLACING AT YOUR LOCAL DISTRICT QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT. YOU MAY ALSO EARN A BID TO NATIONALS BY PLACING IN A SUPER REGIONAL TOURNAMENT OR A DISNEY SPRING CLASSIC. TEAMS THAT EARN BIDS THROUGH THIS PROCESS STILL MUST PLAY IN THEIR LOCAL DISTRICT QUALIFIER. 1. Visit www.aauboysbasketball.org and click on 2005 National Championship Entry Packets and download the information pertaining to the tournament your team qualified for. 2. Gather individual pictures (Head Shots preferably) of all the players on the team as well as a Team Picture (5x7). 3. Gather birth documents/certificates of all players on the team. 4. Gather addresses and telephone numbers of all of the players on the team to place on the Roster. You will also need the mothers, fathers and/or guardians work numbers, home numbers, and email addresses. 5. Gather the Height and Weight of all the players as well as the name of the School that each player attends. 6. Download Grade Exception Forms from www.aauboysbasketball.org for players that need to get them signed by their school. 7. Click on the Info Tab next to the tournament you are participating in and get information on hotel accommodations as well as area attractions. If you have any questions concerning gym locations, directions or things pertaining to a particular city please get host contact information from our website. 9.
