PREVIEW: AAU Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Easter Classic

AAU basketball hosts back-to-back tournaments for the 2021 AAU Classic Series. This weekend is the AAU Basketball Boys’ and Girls’ Easter Classic at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) and Game Point Event Center.

ORLANDO, Fla. - AAU basketball hosts back-to-back tournaments for the 2021 AAU Classic Series. This weekend is the AAU Basketball Boys’ and Girls’ Easter Classic at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) and Game Point Event Center. The three-day tournament will take place on April 2 through April 4, 2021.
 
Approximately 1,800 athletes, 115 boys’ teams and 5 girls’ teams, will be competing for the tournament title. Teams participating will herald from seven different states and territories - Florida, Puerto Rico, Utah, Maryland, Bahamas, Georgia and North Carolina. Age division range from Boys’ 9U - 20U/4th grade to 11th grade and Girls’ 9th grade to 12th grade.
 
Pool play will kick off this year's Classic on Friday and Saturday, followed by bracket play Sunday.
 
AAU Basketball will be following local, state, and federal guidelines regarding COVID protocols for this tournament. We encourage social distancing and masks throughout the venues.
